Who is RealRoots for?​
RealRoots is for anyone who identifies as a woman. Anywhere we say "woman" or "gal" throughout the product or marketing, that is inclusive of all woman-identifying folks. <3

How are gal groups matched?​
After signing up for a meet & greet you'll be redirected to a longer survey with more detailed questions that helps us match you into the best group <3 You'll be matched with a group of gals around the same age as you, as well as in a similar life stage.

How long does a series last?
Each series consists of 7 experiences over 6 weeks, meeting on the same weekday (either Tue, Wed, or Thu). Each experience includes guided activities and conversation for a fun and intentional time together.

How long does each experience last?
Each week's experience is from 6:30pm - 9pm. You're always welcome to stay and hang out with the other ladies afterwards if you choose. All activities are included in the fee (including a RR guide who serves as facilitator, organizer, and game-master), but meals and drinks are additional for purchase. Please check the itinerary on the page in your city to plan ahead.

When does the next series start?
Please check the dates for your city by choosing your city from the "Join In Your City" dropdown in the main menu. We have new cohorts starting every two weeks. An example series includes guided deep conversations, mini-golf, a scavenger hunt, an arcade night, happy hour games, and more.

When do I need to commit to the full series?
You need to commit to the full series at the end of the first experience. You attend the first experience for $20, where you’ll meet your gal group and RealRoots guide over wine. At the end of the first experience, you’ll need to commit to the full series for an additional $249 (for 7 total experiences). The fee includes all activities, and a trained RealRoots guide to plan and lead each experience. Meals are additional and available for purchase.
What happens if I need to miss an experience?
Although we encourage you do your best to attend each experience from beginning to end, participants sometimes need to miss an experience or two due to prior commitments or emergencies. If you do need to miss one please let your RealRoot guide know as soon as possible, so that we can update the headcount for the experience.

Is it still worth it if I need to miss 1-2 experiences?
Yes! On average, ladies need to miss 1-2 experience of the 7, and the outcomes are amazing for those who attend at least 5 out of 7. However if you know you need to miss 3 or more experiences, then we'd recommend you join for a later series instead to get the best experience.

How do you match women in gal groups?
We match women by life stage, approximate age, lifestyle, proximity and a number of other factors. We are very intentional about matching women together who have the potential for amazing connections. As you sign up for the first experience, we ask that you fill out a survey about who you are and we use the information you give us to match you into a the perfect gal group for you.

What if I want to switch gal groups?
At any point after the first or second experience, you can request to switch gal groups if you feel that your group isn’t a great fit. We will be happy to slot you into another group in the same or next available series. However, there is no refunds or rematching within 48 hrs of the series starting as we design the series thoughtfully based around who signs up, so it would be disruptive to the others who joined.

Who are these experiences for?
RealRoots hosts local experiences for women over 21 who are looking for meaningful new gal pals. Whether you're new to the area or you're just looking to expand your social circle, RealRoots is perfect for anyone with openness in their heart for meaningful new friendships.

How does the RealRoots Guarantee work?
If at the end of the series OR meet & greet, you feel that you haven't met at least 1 fantastic gal pal who you're super excited to continue to see, we'll rematch you and put you into a new series for free. The guarantee applies to (1) ladies who have been to only 1 meet & greet - we'll rematch you to a new meet & greet for free ladies, or (2) ladies who attended at least 5 out of 7 experiences in the series AND notified RealRoots within a month of the series concluding.

What’s included in the fee?
The fee includes event planning and the cost of the activity for each experience, and it includes a RealRoots guide to lead deepening conversations over dinner. Food and beverages are available for purchase at each experience and they are additional.
