100% worth the time / effort / money. The activities, dinners, and prompts were a perfect to help us all bond. Having a guide was a major benefit as well, it wasn’t up to us to pick a topic. I would recommend this to everyone!

I’m so grateful for the connections I’ve made with RealRoots. It’s so difficult to find new friends when you’re in a different life stage than your default friends (I’m retired and many of my friends are still working). RealRoots did an amazing job matching me and the other women together. The facilitated sessions really helped us open up and get to know each other better. I was nervous to attend at first but I’m so happy I did because I made some amazing, strong, and uplifting friends. I’m so excited to hang out with them more and create new and fun memories together. This was probably the best $250 I’ve ever spent in my life.

RealRoots is an amazing way to meet likeminded women in your area. I’ve struggled with finding friends that are consistent in the same way that I am, and RealRoots gave me that structure and allowed me to grow with a group that I intend to continue seeing regularly.

Just like any social venture, it takes an open heart to truly make a connection from this experience, but having weekly activities organized for you over the course of 6 weeks is the most ideal set-up I can think of. I went into RealRoots with low expectations and a lot of nerves but it was the most rewarding experience. I met women I genuinely want to be friends with and had the opportunity to get to know them in a low stress environment. I looked forward to the meetups each week and I’ve left each meeting feeling uplifted and energized.

Making friends in a new city as a young adult is so hard! I joined a RealRoots experience after a year of trying to make friends in the wild with not much luck and it has been so fulfilling! Ever since graduating college and joining the workforce, I have struggled to make new female friendships as an adult. RealRoots filled that gap that I think so many women experience, but no one truly talks about enough. By far my favorite thing I’ve done for myself so far this year!

Uprooting my life and leaving my close friend group behind in another state was hard. I don’t usually have trouble making friends, but after more than a year in Brooklyn, I only had one solid friend. Between working remotely and being chronically “busy,” I was struggling. I’ve made some friends through Real Roots that I really click with. As a bonus, I feel more motivated and energized in my personal and career goals—just because all of these women are amazing and accomplished. All ships rise!
